Recently I began using the Emily Skye F.I.T app for my strength training. This app is easy to use and if you stick to it you will see the results. The workouts are quick and minimal equipment is needed. You will need:
- The Free App
- 20-30 mins
- Swiss Ball
- Kettle Ball (15lb works for me)
- 5lb dumbbells (8lb would be useful as well)
- Yoga mat
The app is motivational and for every move there is a short instructional video by Emily, which explains exactly how to do the exercise. Each day the workout routine has a slightly different line-up of moves. I liked this because it keeps the routine fresh and new. The workouts seem to rotate between 3 different categories: Lower Body , Core and Upper Body. Most moves are 4 sets of 12 reps with a 2:00 minute rest time. (I tend to cut he rest shorter)
If you keep up with the workouts you can earn tokens to purchase other programs in the token store.
